High
Blood Pressure and Your Kidneys
Blood pressure is that the
measuring of force of fluid, or pressure the heart has to push the blood around
the body. High blood pressure is measurement of the maximum and minimum blood
pressure with each heartbeat. Another word for high blood pressure is hypertension. Having
high blood pressure for a long period of time can injure blood vessels
throughout your body. Hypertension may be result of too much fluid flowing
through your blood vessels or having narrow blood vessels which restrict the
flow of blood. Blood pressure plays an important role in the health of your
kidneys. If you have high blood pressure it can damage the blood vessels in
your kidneys. Damaged blood vessels can keep your kidneys from functioning
properly.
If
you have blood vessels got damaged in your kidneys it will prevent good renal
function, and keep your kidneys from removing waste and
extra fluid from body. As well as removing waste
products from the blood, the kidneys play a key role in controlling blood
pressure. Kidneys have the ability to regulate hormones which influence the
tension in blood vessels. If high
blood pressure goes unremarked and treatment is not given, patients with renal
disease are more likely to develop progressive kidney failure.
If one suffers from high blood pressure it is important to visit your physician
regularly to help get it under control and to prevent the damage for kidneys. High blood pressure harms damaged kidneys
Hypertension is particularly
common in patients with kidney disease. In most of the patients with renal
problems controlling hypertension is the important step towards reducing the
risk of further kidneys damage. It also reduces the risk of cardic problems
such as strokes and heart attacks that can occur in anyone with hypertension.
Hypertension is both an important cause and consequence of renal diseases. In some cases it can be
difficult to determine which came first.
We would warmly welcome you all to attend the 15th
International Conference on Nephrology and Hypertension Conference
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during July 23-24, 2018 to discuss the relevant advances in Nephrology
and Hypertension research and will explore the novel trends to reduce the
effects of Kidney disease risk factors.
